Some Thoughts...
I would like to participate in the Gina Bachauer Competition because there is “no required repertory.” It is difficult for me, but also interesting. In my opinion, pianists ideas find express in programs of competitions or concerts. We must think about relationship among works….their colors, atmosphere, playing time, etc. When programs are arranged in balance, people can listen much easier. I wish to play in Salt Lake City, such a beautiful city! For me, the meaning of participation in the international piano is to be listened by people in the world. This is a very important opportunity.
