Where can you hear 8 international pianists in solo recitals, 5 two-piano concerts, 2 extravaganzas of four pianists playing four pianos, and to top it off, a grand concert of six world-famous pianists performing works written especially for six pianos? At the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in downtown Salt Lake City from June 20-23, 2007!
The Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation takes great pleasure in presenting an extravagant PIANO FESTIVAL entitled “Piano ‘Round the Clock”, June 20-23, 2007. More than 30 international pianists from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Holland, Germany, Russia, Turkey and Japan will present solo and duo recitals, two-piano concerts and special events featuring music especially composed for four and six pianos.
In addition to these recitals, there will be discussions of performance practice, improvisation, composition, creativity and jazz. The entire event will culminate Saturday evening with a live JAZZ CONCERT by Steven Lindeman and Trio.
The four day event, scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to late evening will be held in the Jeanne Wagner Theatre of the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center at 138 West Broadway, Salt Lake City.

This year’s artists represent many laureates of international competitions including the DRANOFF INTERNATIONAL TWO-PIANO COMPETITION (Miami), the ENSCHEDE (Holland) INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION, THE LEEDS (Great Britain) INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION, THE LISZT INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPEITTION (Weimar), and several laureates, including two Gold Medalists from the GINA BACHAUER INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITIONS.
