“When people ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I never mean to say "a pianist", but "a musician" or "a performer". To some people, a pianist is hardly more than someone who can press buttons on a chunk of wood, even if he or she does it very well. A musician tries to find meaning behind it, while a performer portrays these meanings and thoughts to others. Simply speaking, I would like to keep moving on the endless circle of the music language, seeking new ways to satisfy myself and the audience.”
