“When I practice each day, I keep in my mind what it feels like to be up on stage. It is also my passion for music and desire to improve that keeps me motivated to practice. Even when I am not playing the piano, I listen to many CDs of great performers and discover how their interpretations make a piece sound completely different from how another performer plays it. I want to be a true musician with a style that is only mine, and I am motivated to perform in concerts because I want my audience to experience my joy in making music.”
