Professor Antunes de Oliveira has won numerous piano competitions. She performed as soloist with the Blumenau Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestras of Sao Paulo and at the National Piano Competition of Belo Horizonte. She has performed extensively as a chamber musician and in duo with her husband, conductor and flutist Norton Morozowicz. She has presented concerts in Brazil and South, Central, and North America.
A frequent adjudicator, she has served on the juries of national and international piano competitions as well as integrating committees for evaluating masters’ theses and doctoral programs in public and private institutions in Brazil, the United States, and Portugal.
Known for her knowledge of economics and community cultural development, Professor Antunes de Oliveira has succeeded in assuming important administrative roles in the cultural area of Brazil both in national and state levels as director of the Music Department and Vice President for Culture at Federal University of Goiás and State Secretary for Education, Culture, and Science.
Professor Antunes de Oliveira has been a long-time friend of the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, having served numerous times as jury member and host of Bachauer festivals in Brazil. She also serves on the advisory council of the Sydney International Piano Competition.
