The Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit that relies on contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations for funding. A wide variety of gift options are available, all of which may have potential tax benefits to the donor, but individuals should seek advice from their personal financial advisors before making a decision.
Cash is a great way to contribute and may be 100% deductible. Gifts may be made by cash, check, or charge card, and given as a one-time donation, or pledge in installments over the course of a year.
Stocks, mutual funds, bonds and other securities are welcome and may provide
you with a considerable savings in capital-gain taxes.
More than one thousand companies match donations made by their employees to qualified charities. Contact your company’s human resources department or corporate foundation for participation options. Matching gifts allow donors to double and sometimes triple the value of their gifts to the Gina Bachauer
International Piano Foundation.
Many individuals discover that they can make a substantial gift through a
bequest provision, a life income gift or a trust. Including the Gina Bachauer
International Piano Foundation in your estate planning is an excellent
way to ensure that future generations will benefit from your generosity.
Individuals should seek the advice of their own financial advisor before
creating or revising an estate plan.
Consider also giving the gift of your time. To experience the excitement
of an international piano competition on a different level, you could join the
ranks of our many volunteers. Or be one of our host families and have an
international competitor stay in your home. If you have a grand piano, a
supportive nature, and a desire to bond with a young world-class pianist, your
home might be perfect to help welcome these competitors to
Utah!
